The goal of the Teacher Training Course is to bring the future teachers in the position to teach beginners and intermediate students with knowledge and self-confidence. The TTC is only for experienced or at least intermediate students. The Teacher Training by Yoga India is divided into 7 parts. It is designed to meet the expectations of the Yoga Alliance. The 7 parts are: 1. Technique, includes the training and practice of: asanas, pranayamas, kriyas, chanting, and meditation 2. Teaching: includes the training and teaching of demonstration, observation, assisting/correcting, instruction, teaching styles, qualities of a teacher and the student's process of learning 3. Anatomy and Physiology: includes the study of physical anatomy, the skeleton, organs and muscles, cardiovascular system, Pancha Kosha & nutrition 4. Philosophy and Ethics: this part includes the study of yoga scriptures, ethics for yoga teachers, life of a yogi 5. Practicum: In these hours the students have to observe and assist classes lead by the main teacher and also teach by themselves. 6. Karma Yoga: the students have to help to run the Yoga-school. Includes office work, organization and public relations. 7. Self-practice: study of books and discussion and practice of all above mentioned topics in a group. Practice Scheduled Morning Practice Evening Practice (a) Pranayama (a) Hip opening (b) Asanas(Foundation) (b) Back Bending (c) Technique (c) Meditation Weekend (a) Kriyas (b) Additional Theory The students have the possibility to observe and assist the main teacher for approximately 10 lessons. During that time the students gain knowledge of the methodology of teaching which includes the principles of demonstration, instructions and observation. Additionally, the students have the possibility to teach at least 5 hours with the supervision of the main teacher and eventually unsupervised. The basics of anatomy and physiology will be introduced and explained by an experienced local doctor. Topics will include; the structure and function of the skeleton, the main organs and muscles and the respiratory and the cardiovascular systems. Foundation Course [for all level Students] Is a special combination of the Beginners, Intermediate and Yoga Therapy Beginners opting to go for Teachers Training course will be selected through this BEGINNERS COURSES: Shall be conducted for people who are new to YOGA, young or old, people who feel their body rigid/stiff can also avail of this basic course. People with stress and health related problems can also avail of this unique course. The practice techniques includes breathing, stretchings, Surya Namaskara-I, basic Asanas, Yogic-practice, relaxation techniques etc. Entries to this course are limited. INTERMEDIATE COURSES: These classes are design for people who practice yoga for some time. The classes include maintaining the asanas for longer, introducing new intermediate asanas. THERAPY COURSES: The yoga therapy is based on the pancha kosha sidanta. It design for stress related problems like weight reduction, Asthma, Back-pain, knee pain, Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Menstrual problems, Head-aches, Constipation, Spondlites, Migraines, Indigestion and maintaining good health and slim body. The therapy is being done through yogic practices such as breathing, yoga kriyas, asanas, pranayama, and dhyana. Advanced course (For Intermediate and Advanced Students) To apply this Course Students need to practiced before quit some time BACK BENDING COURSE: Includes Back Bending Asanas from the beginning to advance. Starts with simple back bending Asanas like Ardha Chakrasana, Bhujangasana-1 and continues till Rajakapotasana, Poorna Shalabhasana, GandaBherundasana etc. The practice will be with the complimentary practice like twisting, forward bending, Balancing Asanas, and breathing techniques. The classes are conducted in small groups, individual attention being the priority. There will be two types of training (i) Individual training This training will be Conducted Throughout the year. (ii) Group Training This training will be conducted four times a year. The admission for this course shall be for those who know the minimum basics of YOGA.
