| Yoga Style: | Babaji's Kriya Yoga is a scientific art of perfect God Truth union and Self-Realization. It was revived by a great Master of India, Babaji Nagaraj, as a synthesis of ancient teachings of the 18 Siddha tradition. It includes a series of techniques or "Kriyas" grouped into five phases or branches, taught in a series of classes or initiation seminars: Kriya Hatha Yoga; Kriya Kundalini Pranayama; Kriya Dhyana Yoga; Kriya Mantra Yoga; Kriya Bhakti Yoga. |
| Description: | Babaji's Kriya Yoga Order of Acharyas Trust is a registered society in Sri Lanka. It maintains on a charitable basis, an ashram and large meeting hall, as well as a shrine to Satguru Babaji Nagaraj at a beachfront site, a few yards south of Colombo, Sri Lanka. |
| For the public it offers introductory classes, several weekly Kriya Hatha Yoga classes, a meditation room, a bookstore (Kriya Yoga books in English, Tamil and Sinhala), and initiation seminars in Babaji's Kriya Yoga. For Kriya Yoga initiates it also offers regular satsang meetings. Please note that the ashram does offer accommodation over night. | |
| Visiting Hours: Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm. Individual classes can be conducted after consultation. Weekly Public Yoga classes at the ashram are on Sundays at 8 am. Thursdays: Day of yoga practice 6 am to 6 pm. | |

| All rooms are en-suite, some with sea views, all have balconies. The foyer, with curved mahogany staircase under a large glass dome and marble floor, introduces the visitor to the luxury of the rest of the accommodation. We have a 50' no chlorine swimming pool. Samyama is the coolest house with doors and windows over 11 feet high, continually being refreshed by sea breezes. Samyama has 5 twin bedrooms, 3 doubles and 2 singles. If required full board is available. Diet is mostly vegetarian, but if requested sea food can be prepared. | |
