Keri*Ann's teaching has led her to New York City, Ireland, and Italy where, just this past spring 2009, she was a guest yoga teacher. She was the recent owner of a yoga studio located in New York called 'tha yoga room'. She loves to travel and to meet new people from different cultures and the challenge of different yoga backgrounds. |
| Her style of teaching Vinyasa/Hatha Yoga, which is a fun and high-spirited flowing practice of yoga that links the breath to movement. Each class combines meditation, movement, spirituality, stretching, deep relaxation, and having fun with the practice. There is interaction between the student and the teacher so the student gets the full benefit of the practice of yoga. | Quinn has a lifetime of experience with massage therapy, natural healing and yoga science. He spent much of his childhood in residence at Kripalu Yoga Ashram (1984-1992) where along with yoga sadhana (spiritual practice), massage was an integral part of self-care and family wellness. Quinn began to systematically explore the healing arts in his adolescence, and as an adult he has pursued education in natural healing, completing training programs in yoga, Dao-In, chi kung, martial arts, and energy / Reiki therapy. In 2009 Quinn graduated with high honors from the Medical Massage Therapy Program at Trocaire College in Buffalo, NY. There, he received specialized training in how to apply manual therapy for rehabilitation and specific medical conditions. With his wife Janet Hinkel, Quinn directs Yoga Therapeutics of Buffalo, formerly Sun Moon Yoga & Martial Arts, a studio he co-founded in 2004. He continues to study Iyengar Yoga with François Raoult at Open Sky Yoga Center in Rochester, NY. | |
